Congratulations to Mandy McCutcheon on winning the Southwest Reining Horse Association Futurity on Hollywood Mogul (Hollywood Dun It X Smart Little Creme) owned by Tim & Colleen McQuay! Also congratulations, Mandy, on winning the Non Pro and Novice Horse Non Pro on Dun Its Déjà Vu (Hollywood Dun It X Miss Okie Too) owned by Tim McQuay.

Congratulations to Stefano Calgagnini – fourth in the Open Futurity on This Hicks A Dunit (Hollywood Dun It X Lemacs Little Girl) owned by Brian Adams and to Tim McQuay for finishing 6th on Smart And Shiney (Smart Shiner X Tronas Pearl) owned by Tim McQuay and Lyle Lovett.

Congratulations to Mike McEntire and some great Gunners!

Congratulations to Mike McEntire – Mike won the Georgia Futurity in Perry on The Great Guntini  - winning with a score of 151. The Great Guntini is owned by John Faulkner and is out of  Miss Wicked Filena (Great Pine x Phils Cara Nina). It paid $3800 for the win.

 

Mike was also third at the futurity on  Miss Gunny with a score of 150. She is owned by Tom and Sherry Sumpter and is out of Spin Some Majac (Jacspin x Magic Maddy). She won $2256.

NRHA Derby

Congratulations to Jerry Kimmel had two horses in the NRHA Derby Open Finals – Mister Nicadual (Mister Dual Pep X Nicacheka) ridden by Todd Crawford to a sixth place finish and $18,612 and Jerry’s Whiz N Lena Jac (Topsail Whiz X Lena Lady Jac) was ridden by Stefano Calcagnini in the finals to win another $1400 plus!

Congratulations to McQuay Stables Assistant Trainer Jared LeClair made the Open and Intermediate Open Finals, and won the APHA incentive on Especial Diamond (Like A Diamond x Cutters Fancy) owned by Claudio Signori.

Dunnies Prescription (Dun It With A Twist x Chics Sompen) added more dollars to her over $100,000 lifetime earnings record by making the open finals, ridden by Van Luse for owner Barbara Hunter.

NRBC Non Pro Co-Champion Smokin Dually (Gunner x Diddy Boppin Dually) tied for fourth in the Non Pro Derby, ridden by owner Kim Dooley.

Also, finalists were Dun It Reining (Hollywood Dun It x Heir To Rein) owned and ridden by Ginger Schmersal and Nifty Dun It  (Hollywood Dun It x Pretty Nifty BH) owned and ridden by Karen Shedlauskas.

Congratulations to Jerry Kimmel on a great first show back for Mister Nicadual.  Mister Nicadual, ridden by Todd Crawford, tied for fifth in the NRBC Open First Go earning $4,379.92 and third in the NRBC Open Final earning $41,000.

McQuay Stables is proud to congratulate Pat Warren of Rancho Oso Rio on her purchase of Sorcerers Apprentice.

This great athlete was shown by Tim McQuay to the 2004 NRHA Open Prime Time Futurity Championship, and tie 6th in the Open Futurity Finals. Tim and Sorcerers Apprentice won the APHA incentive as well.

Good luck to Pat with this very nice horse, and thanks go out to her trainer Randy Paul as well.
